Civil Society

"Define what civilization means to you and what would its ending bring to our world."

The ocean tides raging even with the climate changing and all cultures begin rat racing from the apocalyptic season.

Organized government equals organ donors that are citizens of social order, dead, yes, but moral with the law overhead.

A computing community AKA no community at all, processing toxins into every cell wall, the concrete foundation to the inevitable fall.

Sustainability is our downfall, no continuation of small scale value... riding horses on a saddle.

God, myth and magic proves useless in this escapist's world, finally becoming unstable and now nobodies got cable.

Standards of americans are deadened by losses of companies thriving on torture of the poor for the soup de jour.

Someone teach us how not to expend the earth that lets live billions of dollars plus no sense.

Water treatment facilities arent that easy without electric current and platinum faucets.

Children are farmed to harvest lip balm, animals farmed to take away the alarm of an unhappy meal.

The end of peacekeeping is to be found seeping in with the bend of people's interest of food and water.

Farms supply the city life no more and people will come off of their imaginary steeples to help build from the dirt once again!!

I wrote this for a contest that Serj Tankian was having. I believe he asked us to describe society in a creative way. This is what I submitted (I lost).

quote

"It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends on his not understanding it." ~ Upton Sinclair

Self Propelled Death Mechanic

When words fail, all I can think is
How every human needs a shrink
"Help" for neglecting instincts
We have domestic lives for this

Water, wind, earth, fire, 2000 years
Taken for a false belief to expire
the Father, son and the holy spirit
Its taking 4000 years to retire

Escapism is always a sacrifice
When the world's miserable, feel good
It goes from smokin to pokin
So please, please legalize

You've never killed your chicken nuggets
You only believe in consumption
when you find that you aren't blind
Its a realization of moral construction

Silently written, poetic advice rolled in a scroll
Never found, nor read, left to decompose
By the time you decide everything turns old
Now why Mr. Artist did you ever compose?

A more thoughtful description...

Well, Im asexual and I have a boyfriend...

I feel that the less asexual I feel I am becoming, the more asexual I want to be.

I keep thinking about this and how it could negatively impact what we have...

The conflict in my head is making me physically sick.

I know I need to overcome what I am feeling, and I am pretty sure that I can.

But its him who is going have to make up for my issues....

It really bugs me that I cannot be perfect for him

Maybe we can do this, if not... it'll be my fault.

Goodbye, blue sky...

I love this man! His name is Serj Tankian, and as you see here he is passionate about the things that I am passionate about, he is educated, he is unafraid, powerful etc He is my idol, my best drawing subject, my inspiration for things that I do. This is everything I would say in front of that large an amount of people!

I got an MP3 player cuz Lou Brutus said so!

"Educatio est omnium efficacissima forma rebellionis" which is scripted in Latin.

The English translation means "Education is the most effective form of rebellion".

"Ignorance is the single greatest tool of oppression."

The quotes above are what have been interesting to me lately... education is important, we all know that, right? It is in fact, a human right. I believe that if you are intelligent enough to figure out what is propaganda and what is truth, then you are intelligent enough. I used to believe that education itself was propaganda, being that the sociological definition of it is "information disseminated by a group or organization intended to justify its own power." It is forcing us to think in the way the state/nation/whatever institution would like us to think. Education is set up by the government, with the power to reform us into anything.

Don't get me wrong I do still believe that whoever wrote the book and whoever forced me into this schooling system must have they're own needs in mind and not necessarily mine...(the bigger picture maybe?) But I found that education can be used however you like, which gives the people the power.

We owe it to ourselves to take full advantage of the education system to become as knowledgeable as possible which will allow us to make an impression on our society. I believe that in this world, one well informed person could have more power than an entire country and its up to them to use it... I'd never waste an opportunity to change the world in the way I'd like it changed...

"more can be accomplished with a book rather than a bat."

So basically, what I'm trying to say is, Don't fuck the system with your middle finger out of ignorant rebellion, but fuck the system by learning and act on what you're passionate about.

The truth about animal testing... the justification for animal actvists.

According to animal tests lemon juice is deadly poison, but arsenic, hemlock and botulin are safe.

At least 50 drugs on the market cause cancer in lab animals. They are
allowed because it is admitted that animal tests are not relevant.

Rats are 37% effective in identifying what causes cancer in humans. Flipping a coin would be more accurate.

Quote of the Day

“We should never feel like we’re going too far in breaking the law, because whatever laws you break to liberate animals or to protect the environment are very insignificant compared to the laws that are broken by that parliament of whores in Washington. They are the biggest lawbreakers, the biggest destroyers, the biggest mass-murderers on this planet right now.” - Paul Watson

Poetry

I am the cause of a world that's gone wrong.
I am just another teen walking the mall on Friday nights,
I am just one more wandering punk looking to pick fights,
All you see of me is my bondage pants and black hair,
If that's what Im worth to you then why should I care?!
If you got to know me, I could wash away your hatred.
I am the mall rat that recycles trash,
Storing it in my bondage pants.
I am the pacifist, vegetarian, straightedge punk,
The one that cares too much.
I am the one with the blackened eyes,
Eyes that are not blind.
I am the one in all black clothing,
Causing too little commotion,
For your preconceived notions.
